China Plans World's Largest Solar Power Station

China is aiming for yet another world's number one. Dunhuang City in northwest China's Gansu Province is planning the world's largest solar power station. The project will produce 100-mw and cost about 6.03 billion yuan ($765 million). The project will take five years to complete and Zhonghao New Energy Investment will pony up the money.
