China Aims for 10% of Global Auto Market Within 10 Years

The Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce in China says -

"Our target is to sell US$120 billion worth of vehicles and auto parts to foreign buyers in 2016, accounting for 10 percent of the global auto trade value by then."

In 2004 China exported cars and parts worth about $7.2 billion. Last year that figure was up to $10.93 billion.  Continue reading...
