The Beijing Municipal Health Inspection Bureau said they will use mice to test
alcohol, milk, salad, rice, oil, salt and seasonings...and in that order.
Of course, after the mice test the booze, they will lose sensation in their palates and the rest of the results will make no sense. But..the mice will be happy.
Food will be tested 24 hours prior to serving and if there is any poisoning, the mice should react within 17 hours. That gives the cooks 7
