First Chinese-owned TV Station Goes On Air

The first station in the Middle East owned by a Chinese person went on air earlier this week.

The satellite station has a potential coverage of 21 countries, including some in North Africa.

It's potiential viewership could be as many as 400 million.

The mission of the station is to give information about China to Arabi-speaking countries
