According to some, it is US manufacturing that has lead the world in productive gains and drove living standards higher.
I am not smart enough to understand all of that, but what I do know is that I read recently that China has lost more manufacturing jobs than America since 2000 - something like 4.5 million to 3.1 million. But, did this report mention that China has more than 4 times the population of the US?
Uh, no.
