Dr. Bojiang Yang recently spoke on a panel at UC San Francisco about relations in North East Asia.
Of the five speakers, Dr. Yang was the most difficult to follow. It had much to do with not being able to hear him. This is my polite way of saying that he mumbled a lot and his ability to express himself in English was challenged by a non-cooperating microphone among other things.
Still - there is one point that struck me.
Dr. Yang has been tasked with coming up a possible follow through scenarios IF the six party talks dealing with North Korean nuclear power crisis succeeds. I want to know how that will affect business in Korea, Japan, China, Russia and all of Asia.
