A Summary GARP style
Stock selection: I tend to look for stocks being overlooked by the market and therefore sold cheaply.
Valuation: I am sensitive to the high valuation of growth stocks. My average stock valuation is ranged between 15-20X. I prefer stocks with low PE/ PB and average growth ranging from 15-20%.
Portfolio Turnover: my portfolios tend to have lower turnover rates than pure-growth funds because one needs time for the market to realize their mispricing.
Performance: GARP style tends to outperform in a stable growth environment or when economy turns, like this year’s market environment. Value style outperforms during market downturn. Growth style outperforms in a bull market.
