前日LD开会时，接到儿子text：想通电话。吓了他老爹一大跳。还以为是testpositive的badnews。原来是人家通报一下：declaredmajor。接到女儿的texts:backtoback,twomoreinterviewnotices. 儿子的，比较意外。他是：nonewsisgoodnews:-) 随着interviewnotice的增多，女儿的tense终于又了releve。希望他们都能梦想成真。 P.S.: 女儿刚刚结束的一个interview，居然被以为比实际年龄大三岁。是想[阅读全文]

两个Home Deport，却是水火两重天

相差十几miles，车程二十来分钟的两家HomeDeport，为什么服务差得这么远？一家店员白人为主。一家minority、以及操各国口音的移民相当比例。（这个写出来，看着有点《政治不正确》）一家店Covid三月时和现在都是黄色，一家都是红色。一家店同镇的Staples六月份时货架几乎卖空，一家同镇的却是琳琅满目。（服务态度的不同，竟然也传染？：那时急需一台printer，第一[阅读全文]

排骨两吃

3lbs排骨，洗去血水，控干。 3Tbspsugar炒糖色倒入排骨，2粒八角，1Tbsp姜片，大火翻炒。加1Tbspliqueur，1Tbspcidervinegar，继续翻炒。一共5～10分钟。加1/4cupsoysource,1cupwater。沸腾后加盖小火炖40分钟。开盖大火翻炒收汁，这时会逐渐出油，收干汤汁，倒出明油，即为【图2】；加1cup浸泡1小时的糯米，3朵鲜香菇（切粒）中火翻炒，约10分钟后，即为【图1】。 [阅读全文]
