今天是西南联大成立70周年(1937.11.1-2007.11.1)，这所只维持了8年的大
学培养的大家，在长达半个多世纪的时间里，支撑着中国学术的天空。这样的成
绩，是其后70年中国所有大学培养人才的总合都无法企及的。
悲哀的是，在那8年之后，西南联大独立，自由的精神没能在中国这片土地
