"I knew I loved you" is the song title. The whole sentence is "I knew I loved you before I met you". It's a miracle! ;-) The love is past, present, and future. I have faith in people like you, to understand what the song is singing. ;-)))

To avoid the misunderstanding, I will use quotation mark in the title. Thank you for your input.

There is nothing wrong with the song. However, using "I knew I loved You" as a standalone title is kind odd because you use past tense twice in the sentence, which indicates the love was a past love. I guess you don't really mean what you are saying. hahaha ...
