phlegm：痰，也叫sputum。phlegm音[flem],是痰的常用称呼。随地吐痰是很不雅的，人们日常对话中很少提到它，只有咳嗽的时候和医生提起。所以难得碰到它，记不住，这是偶第N次住啦。但是你不记住，需要说的时候就说不清楚了。犹其在电话里护士问你，what\'sthecolorofthephlegm?你就糊涂了。或者你想说痰是黄色的，你也说不清。
