曾经获得“全英爵士音乐奖最佳女歌手”奖项的 Stacey Kent 原来并不是一个土生土长的英国歌手，出生于纽约的她在到伦敦攻读意大利文、法文和德文的过程中结识了后来成为她丈夫的萨克斯风手 Jim Tomlinson ，从此半路出家开始了爵士歌手生涯。这位学习欧洲语言文学出身、来自美国的媳妇借着准确的发音和糅合欧陆文化的气质，很快得到英法乐迷的认同，回到美国也同样受到瞩目。 就像Michael Buble曾被媒体誉为“Frank Sinatra接班人”一样，Stacey Kent也被英国BBC音乐杂志赞誉为“Ella Fitzgerald最优秀接班人”。

What a wonderful world这首歌一开始由爵士乐史上最初的天才音乐家Louis Armstrong创作并演唱的，是一曲六十年代经典老歌，后来被多名歌星像Celine Dion、Eva Cassidy等翻唱成为不同的风格。 曾作为电影《早安，越南》、《马达加斯加》的插曲。 Stacey Kent 这首选自其新专辑《 Breakfast  On The 　 Morning Tram 》，这张专辑里收录有 6 首全新作品，其中 5 首歌词出自“布克奖”著名英籍日裔小说家石黑一雄之手，以“浪漫旅行”作为专辑主题 。
