The explosion of paging devices in Lebanon has attracted significant international attention. Preliminary investigations reveal that the incident involved the use of high explosives, and there was a connection to the pager provider, BAC Consulting KFT, along with Israel.
Following this incident, it has been confirmed that these pagers "were significantly different from those produced by Golden Apollo," employing chips not found in the models of Golden Apollo. Insiders also disclosed that there were unusual activities associated with the financial transactions of BAC Consulting KFT, a Hungarian company, involving payments from a Middle Eastern bank account to Golden Apollo. This account had previously been frozen at least once by a Taiwanese bank holding a Golden Apollo account.
The CEO of the company is Christiana Balazs-Asciacarno. Her LinkedIn profile indicates she has worked for several organizations, including the European Commission, UNESCO, and the International Atomic Energy Agency. On her LinkedIn profile, Balazs-Asciacarno shared various conspiracy theories about Ukraine's President Zelensky and the COVID-19 vaccine. She also shared a video taken by a Turkish photographer expressing sympathy for the people in Gaza. This showed Balazs-Asciacarno is far from a simple CEO. From all appearances, she and her company have been working for an assortment of entities; this includes Israeli intelligence. Only a supply chain vendor could so easily transport the pagers, which had been altered to contain high explosives, into the hands of intended targets.
