糖是许多化学分子的组合通称,比如葡萄糖,蔗糖,果糖等等。葡萄糖是细胞的燃料,直接参与细胞的代谢,算是及其重要的营养。蔗糖是双糖,每个蔗糖分子含有一个葡萄糖和一个果糖。果糖才是问题所在。果糖不能被细胞使用,不参与代谢,而是需要经过肝脏转化成甘油三酯和肝糖脂肪储存起来,待葡萄糖用光之后再由肝脏转化成葡萄糖给细胞使用。这个过程浪费大量的代谢能量造成胰岛素抵抗,高尿酸和二型糖尿病。以美国为代表的全球食品工业不但使用蔗糖而更喜欢加入成本更低的高果糖玉米糖浆(high fructose corn syrup), 造成全民糖尿病和高尿酸。高果糖玉米糖浆成本只有蔗糖的三分之一,而且非常容易在水或液体中溶解,降低生产成本。 食品工业才是真正的健康杀手!且看美国的工业集团们,食品工业领头制造健康问题,带动医疗和保险的高价,然后是制药工业来用高价的胰岛素和最新减肥或糖尿病药再赚一手。倒霉的还不是普通老百姓呀!
