1. ASCENDED TO HEAVEN升天

Both Jesus Christ and Elijah ascended to Heaven in front of a crowd (2 Kings 2:11, Luke 24:51).

2. DID NOT EAT FOR 40 DAYS IN THE WILDERNESS在旷野禁食四十天

A meal prepared by angel strengthened Elijah on a 40 day journey in the wilderness (1 Kings 19:4-8). Jesus Christ wandered in the wilderness for 40 days without any food (Luke 4:1-3).

3. CONFRONTED LEADERS面质领袖

Elijah confronted the king of Israel, Ahab (1 Kings 18:18). Jesus Christ confronted Pharisees who are the high priests of Jerusalem (John 8:44, Matthew 23:33).

4. ANGELS MINISTERED TO BOTH MEN天使伺候

An angel ministered to Elijah before his 40 day journey (1 Kings 19:5-7). Angels ministered to Jesus Christ after Satan tried to tempt him (Mark 1:13, Matthew 4:11).
