二十世纪最后一个伟大的科学家走了,杨振宁先生在科学史上留下重要的学术遗产,也给普通的中国民众留下了精神遗产——科学爱国方法。物理学太深奥了,普通人无法了解杨老的物理学贡献,反正他的科学成就足以让老乡们自豪就够用了。作为一个伟大的科学家,杨老在世俗生活方面也显示了大智慧,比如,他的爱国方法就贯穿着世人望尘莫及的科学精神,值得普通人反复揣摩、学习。
普通民众可能不懂杰出科学家的学术贡献,但非常关心他是否爱国及爱的度数,因为爱国痴迷度是他们唯一能跟科学家同台竞赛的项目。智商没法跟科学家比,情商说不定比科学家高呢,拉着科学家过家家酒,缠着数学家背乘法口诀表,指不定谁赢呢。爱国话术是有些人唯一熟练的口诀。也不排除有些鸡贼小人觉着爱国可能是吃亏的事儿,就拉科学家攀比。
科学家浓烈爱国的标志行为就是在海外取得科研成果和声誉后放弃优渥待遇毅然回国报效,杨振宁显然烈度不够,他父亲杨武之先生亲自去美国劝说他回国也未成功,这更体现了杨振宁在爱国问题上的科学方法。49年后,有很多知名学者一腔热血回国报效,但国家正在发育阶段,还没有接纳杰出科学家的宽容度,担心这些名人客大欺店,就用“思想改造运动”“反右运动”进行极限考验、甄别,结果把大批回国报效的名家给报销了。五十年代回国就是给国家添堵,杨振宁那时回国如果被打成右派,不但自己受罪,传出去也给国家丢脸抹黑,这时候最科学的爱国方式就是不回国,减少国家犯错误的机会才是真爱国。杨振宁1971年回国访问,受到了最高规格的接待,先前回国报效的邓稼先正在学习班接受审查和批斗,在杨振宁的过问下才逃出厄运,两弹元勋要靠杨振宁来保护,不愧是得诺奖的大科学家,以最科学的方法报效了祖国。
国人擅长计谋思维,觉着青年才俊去海外研究机构搞科研跟卧底差不多,取得科研成果就是掌握机密情报,要立马归国汇报和报效才对。其实,科学家是潜伏在物质世界最深处的“卧底”,杨振宁就是把粒子世界的奥秘摸清楚了的杰出“卧底”物理学家,是人类最杰出的“特工”。对科学家来说,国家只是个地理坐标。有个矫情的说法“科学无国界,但科学家有祖国”,这是正确的废话,就像“科学没老婆,但科学家有老婆”一样的废话。
杨振宁知道中国最缺的是科学思维和科学精神,努力普及科学精神就是尽一份爱国义务。1995年,另一个大聪明科学家钱学森迎合潮流吹捧“气功”“人体特异功能”,杨振宁公开质疑“特异功能”,反对玄学,谁坚持科学精神一目了然。他晚年回国定居并入中国国籍,可能是为了方便直言不讳普及科学精神吧,因为外宾只能说客气话,入籍成了一家人才好说真话。入籍后,对披着科学外衣的东西直接怼:“中医的理论直接沿袭了《易经》的思路,而非近代科学化的。如果现在研究中医理论仍坚持将二者统一起来,中医学没有前途。我们要抛弃中医的理论,因为其中掺杂着几近迷信的成分,而代之以近代科学化的方法。”
有技术含量的爱国都很罕见了,杨振宁高浓度科学含量的爱国更珍稀,普通人要学习杨老的科学爱国法。

His contention with 李政道先生 about the extraneous order of author list is really odd, childish, unconscious, and consequential. They perpetuated the senseless altercation to the vast detriment of their own prestige. It costed 杨振宁先生 of at least one more Nobel Prize. It is embarrassing to many Chinese scholars around the world. However, as a matter of fact, the altercation was neither illegal nor immoral, and did no harm to the world. They are the sole victims of themselves.
Many Chinese people deride or decry his second marriage because of the vast age gap. Most people judge others based on their own experience, instead of the relevant facts. People usually deem that a young girl marrying a grandpa is equivalent to leaping into the hell fire. In retrospect, what we can be certain today is that the young wife has been cherishing and relishing their unpopular marriage. In addition, all her and his family members sincerely supported their marriage ever since. Therefore, we can deduce that there must be an abnormal reason for the marriage. One likely reason is that the young lady was obsessed with the aspiration to live together with him, much like many transgender people aspire to plastic surgeries despite the enormous physical pains. To the young wife, the marriage is a relief or even salvage. One clue is that his two wives bear staggering resemblance in appearance at their young ages. It appears he was destined to have the second marriage. Hence, the derisions or condemnations on his second marriage are very likely to be unfair and undue.
杨振宁先生 defies ambient opinions. This is his innate penchant as a prodigy. This is also exactly the fundamental reason for his peerless achievements in science.
杨还有一个重要的爱国贡献,就是他一直反对国内砸钱搞对撞机。他已经看清楚,高能物理到了上世纪80年代,已经是强弩之末,再建更大的加速器,不但烧钱,也很难带来新的突破。这点他跟李截然相反,以至于邓太宗告诉国内要搞加速器的,你们需要支持的话去找李政道,不要找杨振宁。结果是,北京当时砸钱做了个正负电子对撞机,但实验上果然没搞出什么名堂。这一点上,杨是正确的。
