特殊的澳纽军团日 25th April 2020

今年的 25th April 2020 时一个非同往年的澳纽军团日，我们将永远记住，清晨6点几乎每一个小区，每一条街道，都有人们点亮蜡烛站在门口，缅怀为国捐躯的生命，因为今年的今日大家不能聚集一起，只好以这特殊的方纪念他们。

Lest we forget, we will remember them
这是我们生活的地方，这是我们后代生长的土地，让我们一起爱护她。

昨天我们在信箱里收到了信息

 

 

今早六点我们准时站到门口，街道尽头想起了号声， 许多家门口摆上红色罂粟花

在全世界的其它很多国家，人们在“停战日”，也就是ArmisticeDay（11月11日）佩戴这

朵小红花，在澳大利亚和新西兰，人们在4月25日这一天将它别在上衣的衣领或是胸口

上，表示对军人这个神圣的职业崇高的敬意。

为什么红色罂粟花来代表，在1915年第一次世界大战期间，加拿大的一名军医约翰·麦克瑞

(John McCrae)中校奉命前往法国弗兰德斯接收加拿大阵亡将士。他亲眼目睹了战场的惨状，

目睹了红透半边天的罂粟花。他抑制不住悲伤和激动，在一张碎纸片上写下了13行诗句。

这首诗道出了千千万万战士的心声，很快便以民歌的形式在前线和后方广为流传。

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
