Once lost in the world

I was found in love

This child will never be returned to the owner

Since Christ’s blood was the ransom

 

Once caught by Satan

I was released by mercy

This slave has only served Father ever since

Since there is no other higher name

 

Once bound by sins

I was freed by grace

This free man has locked himself at the feet of God

Since I can find freedom only in Him

 

Once saved always saved

Is there any yoke that is easier than this

Once saved never be forsaken

Is there anyone who has more love than Him

The first time He came we are saved

Since then we have been longing to see Him

When He comes for the second time
