Hey and welcome back, my shining stars! I'm back with another post, and this one is for art! I made this a couple of weeks ago and I totally forgot to mention it! But here it is, so yay! This picture is called RoseLove, and I totally love it! I will tell you the procedure and the supplies that I used to make this beautiful piece! The first thing you have to get are watercolor paints, brushes and paper, I used mixed media paper and Artist Loft paint and brushes. Then you want to use your paint. Choose four colors. These four colors will be the the only colors that you will use, so choose wisely. Now you should take two brushes, one wash brush and one pointed round. Dip the wash brush in water, and choose your least favorite color out of the four colors. This will be your foundation color. Use the wash brush to paint the foundation color, make sure there is a lot of color, and paint strokes horizontally across the paper. Once the color leaked out, wash the brush. Do the next color, DO NOT LET THE FIRST COLOR DRY. The wet over wet effect creates a blended but still a color popping background. Continue in a horizontal brush stroke for each color, IT IS OKAY IF YOU DONT COLOR THE WHOLE PAPER. Once you have done each color, take your pointed round brush (smaller brush) and fill in the remaining white parts that are in your painting. Use different colors than the ones that are around the area, it makes a more interesting background, example: (Used Wash brush) purple (used pointed round brush) blue. Once you have finished, wait for it to dry. The next step requires a dry paper. Once it dried, use a pencil and start drawing roses or another type of flower. Draw many, but close together and bunched together in a heart shape. Once done, outline the outside of the flowers in thick sharpie. Outline the details inside in thin sharpie. Once done, told the paper in half horizontaly and hamburger style. Cut out a half heart (do not cut off any of the flowers). Open it up and you have a RoseLove painting! Thats my example of Rainy RoseLove, I hope you try this and tell me how it turns out! Well goodbye stars, I'm clicking off now. Posting tomorrow!!!
