9/11:---请记住这个时刻

 

美国精神-----超越悲情，超越9-11

2001年9月11日，纽约世贸中心，

华盛顿五角大楼相续遭到恐怖袭击。2996人丧生。其中包括超过90个不同国家的公民，举世为之震惊。

美国人民蒙受了最大的创伤和悲痛。"9-11"

这一天变成了最黑暗的日子。

 

在那些令人心碎的日子里，紧张，艰苦，危险的救援工作全面展开，

纽约市的消防队员们冲在最前面，

他们在世贸北楼遭到攻击后立即进入火场，

消防局在世贸一楼设立了临时指挥中心，

消防队员们爬楼梯进行救援，

很多消防队员在未到指挥中心报到的情况下就立即展开了救援，

由于无线电通讯故障，

很多冲入火场的队员无法准时接到撤离的命令，当大楼倒塌时，34

3名消防队员英勇以身殉职。

 

一时间，爱国主义情绪空前高涨。消防员成了美国最受尊敬的职业，

9-11英雄们用他们的生命抚慰并鼓舞着受伤的美利坚民族。

带给我们更多的是坚持，是信念。拜登副总统说到：

这些恐怖袭击激发了全新的一代-----9.11一代，

他们诞生，就在这里，就在9.11那一天。

就像激扬的共和国战歌所唱的："她已吹响那决不召唤退却的号角。

。。。。。"，布什引用了前美国总统林肯的话;"

懂得牺牲的代价"这些都更加深刻和全面的诠释"美国精神"。

 

十五年过去了，我们没有忘记9-11，没有忘记我们的英雄，

他们在蔚蓝的天空里，在巍峨的群山中，在辽阔的大地上，

永远的注视着我们，祝福着我们，保护着我们，与我们同在，

与美利坚同在。

 

英雄不朽 天佑美国！

这是著名旅美画家杨亿历时五年所创作的大型组画"英雄礼赞"和"日日夜夜"长卷作品的局部，真实的记录了那个令人心痛的时刻，表现出画家心中对英雄的礼赞和敬仰之情，同时也怀着对和平的渴望，目的是希望人们不要忘记这些在和平年代，为抢救伤员而奋不顾身英勇捐躯的英雄，珍惜和平的日子和生活.正如"纽约消防员之友"杂志总监卡波恩（Nancy Carbone)说的："艺术家杨亿的作品不仅是对我们在9/11中逝去的英雄礼赞，也是对那些每天仍然在为了保护我们的安全而不懈忘我工作的人们的致敬"。下面是在ABC Facebook 上美国观众看了ABC国家电视台专访画家杨亿时的留言。
