Look mainly for new America entrepreneurial companies, those with a new issue within the 

last eight or ten years rather than too many 

laggard old America companies

用多年来6000个IPOs 的数据，金融研究发现:

1 IPO 第一天的回收率可达 18%-19%, 如果你可以在发市之前买到股的话

2 IPO long term performance 平均来说并不好，三五年内，returns lower than non-IPO stocks by 7%

另外，还有研究表明:

3. Those “old American companies” with low PEs but solid fundamentals actually do better in the long run than glamour growth stocks。

当然，未来的IPOs, stocks 是不是也呈现这样的特点，那就不好说了 ～
