元宵节Lantern Festival

每年的农历正月十五，为农历新年的第一个月圆，象征着春天的到来。 传统新春定义的最后一天，也是春节的结束。活动：吃汤圆、观灯和游行。

去年元夜时，花市灯如昼。月上柳梢头，人约黄昏后。

今年元夜时，月与灯依旧。不见去年人，泪湿春衫袖。

Last year at the Lantern Festival

The flower-market lights were bright as day;

When the moon mounted to the tops of the willows,

Two lovers kept their tryst after the yellow dusk.

辛弃疾《青玉案之元夕》：

东风夜放花千树，更吹落、星如雨。宝马雕车香满路，凤箫声动，玉壶光转，一夜鱼龙舞。

蛾儿雪柳黄金缕，笑语盈盈暗香去。众里寻他千百度，蓦然回首，那人却在，灯火阑珊处。

Searching the crowds for her again and again along the streets,

With a sudden glance back,

I see her just standing in there,

Where lanterns gleam softly in the trees.
