How the Victoria’s Secret Angels Have Been Preparing for Their Big Day
The countdown to the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Paris’ Grand Palais is underway. The lingerie extravaganza takes place this evening, when it will be filmed with a bevy of famous guests in attendance. Lady Gaga, The Weeknd and Bruno Mars are also set to perform. The general public will have to wait until Dec. 5, though, when the spectacle will air on CBS at 10 p.m. ET.
Meanwhile, the cast of Victoria’s Secret Angels has been experiencing the delights that the French capital has to offer. They all flew into the city in a chartered private jet, which touched down Monday at Roissy airport. But rather than catching up on beauty sleep, they have lost no time in taking in the sights of Paris.
Models including Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Sara Sampaio, Bella Hadid and Jasmine Tookes have been documenting their exploits on their Instagram feeds. And from gold leaf facials to visits to the Moulin Rouge, it makes for quite a spectacle in its own right.
Lima has been letting her imagination take flight and upping her wing game. It certainly pays to take tips from a god or two when it comes to how to comport oneself on the runway. “MAY THE GODS STAND BY ME! ITS SHOW TIME!” she posted.
Sara Sampaio is also going for gold. The model has been experiencing the joys of a gold leaf facial with beauty technician to the stars, Mimi Luzon, to ensure her skin is in tip-top condition. “Getting skin ready for tomorrow,” she posted.
Tookes, on the other hand, has been out on the town with fellow model Romee Strijd. Tookes is clad in J Brand leather jeans teamed with Nicholas Kirkwood black lace-up pumps. And judging by the time of the post in the early hours of this morning, it was definitely a late night for Tookes.
Tookes also swung by Paris institution Moulin Rouge with Sampaio on Monday. They were, no doubt, picking up tips from the venue’s cabaret stars.
