Stars brave biting temperatures in the name of fashion with Cheryl, Mollie and Pixie taking the plunge
With winter in full swing, temperatures in the capital are currently well below ten degrees celsius.
But that didn't stop the likes of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Mollie King and Pixie Lott from turning up the heat in daring outfits as they braved the biting weather on Monday night at the London Coliseum for the 2015 British Fashion Awards in partnership with Swarovski.
All choosing to take the plunge for the sake of style, the stars did well to capture the limelight while a bold Victoria Beckham stood out in tuxedo as she made the sensible decision to wrap up warm.
Leading the glamour, Mollie King was the centre of attention in a cleavage baring monochrome halterneck gown which also featured a thigh high split as she arrived on the red carpet standing tall in a pair of heeled sandals, with her beau David Gandy.
The 28-year-old did well to work her angles as she posed for photographers in her slashed-to-the-hip creation while opting for dark eye makeup with nude lips and styling her hair in a high bun.
David, 35, made for a dapper match to his girlfriend in a two piece black suit teamed with a crisp white shirt, slim tie and patent shoes as he sauntered into the event, held in association with Cîroc Vodka and FIJI Water.
Love it or hate it, there’s no denying that Mollie King’s extreme split dress stole the show at the British Fashion Awards! No mean feat considering the stylish competition.
With its belly baring side slit and plunging cut-outs, this monochrome maxi leaves little, including whether or not Mollie is wearing any undies, to the imagination.
Designed by PPQ, this black and white statement dress is part of the London based designer’s spring/ summer 2016 collection- so not yet available to buy.
But if you do want to emulate Mollie’s look, albeit with a little less flesh on show, check out our edit of monochrome maxis in the carousel below.
This Asos halterneck side slit dress is perfect if you want to flash a little leg this party season, or keep it covered in Lipsy and Untold.
Complete your look with metallic accessories, a chic updo and a slick of red lippy for a show stopping look that will have all eyes on you!
Not the only famous couple in tow, Victoria Beckham proved that both her and David wear the trousers at home as they put on a coordinated show.
The pair sported his-and-her outfits in black suits as they took part in the photocall at the Covent Garden venue hand in hand while Victoria, 41, worked her androgynous ensemble.
The 41-year-old wore cropped panel detail trousers with a three-quarter length sleeved blazer, black top and completed the look with suede stilettos.
Lady Gaga was the epitome of glamour as she made her grand entrance at the British Fashion Awards in a scarlet sequinned thigh high split dress with fishnet detailing by Tom Ford.
The 29-year-old singer-turned-actress oozed confidence as she sashayed down the red carpet in a pair of red satin peep-toe heels and a smart burgundy clutch bag.
Gaga added some extra glamour thanks to silver earnings, matching diamante jewels on her eyelids, and the Born This Way chart-topper wore her icy blonde locks pulled back in a bun with a bouffant quiff.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini defiantly displayed her body in see-through floral dress which saw her cut a very slim figure.
The 32-year-old wore a bralet and black hotpants as she left little to the imagination with the embroidered flowers on her outer layer giving onlookers little obstruction to the view.
Sexing it up even further, Fernandez-Versini accessorised with a pair of over-the-knee boots and a rigid clutch bag.
Also in attendance, Pixie Lott ensured she carried off her skimpy look with aplomb as she attended the 2015 British Fashion Awards.
The 24-year-old pop starlet looked sensational in a simplistic white gown which gaped over her shoulders while featuring a boxy slashed skirt.
Clearly illustrating her option to go braless, the Mama Do hitmaker posed from all angles to show her bare back and a glimpse of side boob.
Looking stunning as ever was Rosie Huntington-Whiteley showed some skin in a very low-cut pale pink Burberry gown.
The Devon-raised blonde, 28, had styled her hair in a long glossy bob, with nude sandals and drop earrings completing her look.
Her choice to wear Burberry was no surprise given her long association with the brand, having recently starred in their all-star Christmas campaign.
Gwendoline Christie did well to stand out at the annual event in a heavily sequinned bandeau gown.
The Game Of Thrones star, 37, dazzled as she posed for pictures in the number form fitted number which featured a mullet hem.
Wearing her hair out of her face, the statuesque beauty highlighted her eyes with winged eyeliner and coated her pout with a scarlet shade of lipstick.
