MR. BROWN'S FARM -- MY SUMMER MEMORIES

 

He is mixing blue and purple for a portrait 

while gulping coffee

of which water fetched from an old well

 

A figure taking shape on canvas -- me 

Wild strokes my hair

two sparkling dots my eyes

 

A quiet shadow moving on the hillside

Amid the mirror-shine mountain ridge

Not a note from a bird, nor a rooster I heard.

 

Mr. Brown's head tilting, eyes narrowing 

Long brush against his mustache

Grey ashes falling off the dying cigarette

 

 

The silver lake is so near

just there to capture figures of us

Is he painting me, or I'm painting him?

 

夏天我们去了一个sustainable flower farm，Mr. brown 的农庄太天然了没有电和wifi只有一个浇花池塘。我们帮他剪花男生还做了一个风车。剪完花我们就到一个大湖去游泳因为他只有一个浴室。在农庄两个星期他给每个女生画了一张像早晨卖花去的时候带到农市去卖每张$350。
