VACATION!

Over  vacation I went to White mountain. I was going with my whole family including my grandma and grandpa. We were not going camping in a tent. We were staying in a hotel. ( Sort of.)  Well,it had a kitchen,a dining room and 2 bedrooms. It had 4 beds and one was actually a wall! It had 2 TVs. It even had bowls and dishes. My brother said he wanted to live there forever. (I would rather live in my house forever.) The curtains were pink with roses. I thought they looked pretty.We had to pack our own food because there were no food shops near the mountains.  The good thing was,there was a fridge. When we got there,we had lunch. We ate sandwhiches. After we had to take naps. ( I really don't like naps.) But too bad for me,I had to take a nap. My bed was actually 2 beds. You just had to pull the bottom and then you have a bed. 

After we went boating. My grandma and grandpa went in there own canoe. My family and I went in a canoe together. My dad steard. My mom paddled. After a while my brother and I paddled. Then we got tired,so our parents paddled. The view from the lake was beautiful. The water sparkled like smooth,shiny torquioses and eye-catching sapphires in the bright afternoon sunlight. The mountains were like large dazzaling emeralds. Then, my dad said,"we were stuck." My mom was scared. I didn't care. Finally we got unstuck. We paddled back to shore. I was hot,hungry and tired! So we went to get ice cream. My dad got 2 vanillas. One for him and one for my grandpa. My mom and grandma didn't have any. My brother had CC cookie dough in a small cone. I had cotton candy ice cream and a medium cone. I got 3 scoop! My brother got 2 scoops. My cotton candy was scrumptiouse. It was so good I finished it in 5 minutes!

Next we went to the bike rental shop.My brother needs training wheels. My bike was uncomfortable. (Well, it was okay.) My grandpa and grandma rested. They didn't want to go bike riding. We had to have helmets. Mine smelled DIGUSTING! It smelled like sweat. (Sweat smells very bad you know.) We rode wherever there was sidewalk. After a while my mom and I were ahead my brother and dad. We didn't wait for them. Then we went into a path that was in the woods. It had lots of bumps. I went first. It  made me go so fast. I couldn't control myself. It was so fun! When we got out of he woods, the side walk tipped to the right, I felt like I was going to fall. After a few minutes, we were at the bike rental shop. We gave back our bikes, then we went home.

When we got home (I mean the hotel). We took a break and then my brother and I changed into long pants. We were going ice skating. I only skated once! This was only my second time on ice ! We walked to the ice skating arena. "Brrrrr" It was so cold. After we got ice skates that fit, we were on ice. Then someone told us that you can't be on ice without skates. So my dad got skates. (My dad is not a good skater) I got a push thing. First I just stoood there looking at the sparkling ice. Then I looked up, my dad was on the ice sitting. He look soooooooooo weird. Afer a while, I began to skate, but I still had to push the little cart. The ice was so slippery, My dad fell a few more times. My mom didn't skate, she watched us. My brother had a cart too. It looks like he was doing tap dance or chopping the ice. He fell a few times too. It was so cold, my dad wore short sleeves and shorts, he probably was freezing. Then my dad did somthing hilarious, he slammed into wall and fell "SPAT" on the ice. I laughed so hard, I almost fell too. We skated for a few more minutes, then we went home. I was exhausted. So I ate dinner and went to bed.

The next morning, my mom said we were going to go on a chairlift. A chairlift is somthing that you sit on, it feels like you are flying. After breakfast, we watched "FROZEN", we didn't finish frozen, but my dad said we can finish it later. We took a trolley to where the chairlift started. I was sooooooo excited! I sat next to my mom. My grandma and grandpa sat together. I felt like I was flying! I didn't look down. Afer a while, we stopped moving. My mom took a few pictures, then we were moving again. After a few more minutes, we got off. We walked into the woods. There were a dirt path. We walked and walked. There were so much mosquiotos. I wish we brought buy spay. I found silver, red and purple wood and some pretty rocks. There were lots of butterflies. I saw a black butterfly with a white circle on each wing. My dad said we were going to see a waterfall. Then we crossed a bridge, we walked on a steep path. There was teh waterfall. I took off my shoes, the water was cold. The rocks were slippery. Some other people were there. A man was even woring a bathing suite. He went in the water, he walked into the waterfall (I would never do that) After a few more minutes, we walked through the woods and came back to the chairlift. We all got in a seat, I thought the going down one was more fun, it stopped halfway too.

We ate lunch and rested. After my mom and I went skating. A little girl could do spin and twirls on the ice! I think she could win a gold medal in the winter olympics. I skated so hard, I got a cut on my ankle. So we went home. I was tired and hungry. My mom took out some cherries, we watched the world cup.

The next day my mom went mini-golfing with my dad and grandpa. My brother and I stayed with my grandma at a playground. Today was the last day of our vacation in New Hampshire. After my mom picked us up and had lunch. After we packed up. When all the bags were in the car we went to the  bike rental shop again. We went biking for the rest of the afternoon. Then we drove home. What a fun,exciting and awsome vacation!
