First of all: Happy New Year to ALL my friends who are reading this post. As I was not able to log in my account for a few days this post was delayed.
The fact is a bird in bush is the best, not just better, than two in your hands.
If you love someone, you should keep, not set, her/him free. The fact is that s/he is not born to be part of you, nor your property and should never be owned. If you own her/him as your property, you are going to feel the burden of carrying something. Carrying a stuff you love is fun for a while but not for a long time. The other party gets bounded and you are stressed sooner or later. If you don't believe it, trying carrying your wife, a lovely girl, your dog, or your cat, or whatever. At the beginning it is an enjoyment for both parties, but after a while both start longing for the game to be over.
You might argue that the physical burden is too heavy, the emotional carrying is another story. Just imagine that you are immersed in the thoughts of the other party, you feel exited and enjoy it for a short time but will go nuts if it continues a bit longer. Anyone who has some understanding of pesticides will appreciate it. To someone who knows little about pesticides
here is a fact: some pesticides kill the insects not because the pesticide poisons the insects but because it gets them overwhelmingly exited. To human beings, it is something like killed by overdose. In your daily life some days you loose your sleep when you are so exited about something that you are exhausted the next day.
If you love someone keep her/him free, that will also help you to stay free.
