漫谈百老汇轻歌舞剧

来美的第一站是水牛城。在北京长大的我真的很不适应，憋了两年就拜拜了乡土气息太浓的水牛城，一步踏入曼哈顿。当年真如刘姥姥进了大观园，走在街上的我都觉得轻飘飘地。在水牛城唯一可吃的就是闻名世界的水牛城鸡翅，可那东东也不能天天吃吧。进城后立志第一吃遍所有好吃的餐馆第二看遍所有好的百老汇轻歌舞剧。闯荡曼哈顿十年的我可以很自豪的说基本实现了。

第一个看的百老汇演出是Cats. 虽然看的时候很震撼，两个小时的载歌载舞大大饱了眼福，过后只记得一帮扮装成猫的演员在台上群魔乱舞和一两首歌。如The Phantom of the Opera这种好的轻歌舞剧其实不多，几乎每首歌都是经典。一般的只要有一两首歌就不错了。

现在虽然很少看百老汇轻歌舞剧，但是一有载歌载舞的电影我是从来不会放过地。最近看了两遍电影《悲惨世界》，印象最深的就是芳汀唱的这首歌I Dreamed A Dream

虽然Anne Hathaway演的唱的都不错但是也太杯具了。在油管里找了一下虽说苏杉大妈版最受欢迎，但是不够杯具。最喜欢的版本是这个。

可是这首歌本身还是太杯具，咋唱都没给人希望。还是回到Cats。更喜欢《Memory》这首歌。

 虽然这首歌给人点希望，还是杯具了且有点歇斯底里怀旧的味道。今年春闺女演奏的二重奏West Side Story的一首《今夜》偶很是喜欢。这首歌唱出了对美好爱情的僮憬。

我想，这里没有用who而是what，所以从字面上来讲，应尽量不用“谁”。但是，因为翻译中还要考虑音节、原意、押韵、文化背景、语言习惯等问题，所以一般也允许有适当的转义。
红旗姐，你可以以唱得顺为主，所以，“你的人，你的行，你的话”也应该可以用。

红嘴妹更厉害，偶只是编辑了一下。这句还是觉得不对，你看看，找三个字表达。
What you are, what you do, what you say
你是谁，你做的，你说的 或者 你的人，你的行，你的话。
意思是 你的一切： 身影/存在，所做/行为，话语。

我过去翻译，一向只注意对作品原意的准确理解。要做到“信”“达”“雅”，太难了。

《今夜》这首歌虽然简单但弹出热恋的感觉不容易。闺女弹时九岁，难为她了。老师说以后不在学生弹了，用于比赛出力不讨好。所以成了钢琴双重奏绝版了。

不喜欢港台靡靡之音，打算介绍点其它的歌曲。喜欢俺争取以后多写一些。
