儿时的记忆有些模糊，少年的经历有些心酸；家乡的印象仍停留在三十六年前；曾几时，闯世界，四海为家星盖头；看尔今，本无根，叶落吾家北美洲。

秋来夏去似昨天，举头金叶落一片。
杨树挂满金麒麟，桦树金叶铺地毯。
枫林赤叶数几片，青松绿叶映其间。
远看田园尽秋色，近观树林叶遮天。
树干亦在挺高拔，绿叶已去金叶冠。
灌木簇拥显神态，赤红金绿相互串。
夏日平原庄稼旺，秋始硕果金盘满。
秋收过后留麦茬，厚雪春后又一年。
It was beautiful golden autumn season, as golden leaves covering the ground and hanging in their home trees. Wind blows away those leaves which fly high but fall as golden colored carpet. It is a mesmerizing scenery while cruising along the Queen Elizabeth Highway back home.
