The Day

As cruel as love is

 

Tyrant demands every bit of liveliness

 

My breath it takes away

 

My words it crushes

 

 “his face shall be your fate!”

 

Its order I must obey

 

 

 

 

 

 

As mysterious as love is

 

Witch twists its nose twice

 

Art is scattered puzzle pieces

 

Science remains timidly in silence

 

“you doubt therefore you lost

 

Its laughter teases me

 

 

 

 

 

Yet as simple as love is

 

Mermaid deserts the deep blue sea

 

Ease the pain breeze dances

 

Pacifying was what Magellan heard

 

“sight the edge, you shall,

 

Because  love is the day.”
