Crushing Moon is a Chinese language based poetry collection by Chinese Canadian poet Sha Yan. Sha Yan published six titles in his past, Qing Liu Book is his last Chinese poetry collection. In Crushing Moon, Sha Yan shew his talent in Chinese traditional poetry creation with details in classicism, language and style. The second part of Crushing Moon is Chinese new poetry, and Sha Yan's creative talent was drafted with his detailed touch in Chinese language. In spite of the depth of the poet, Sha Yan welcomes his readers with easy to read, simple, clean yet natural ingredients of his creations. Crushing Moon is very thought provoking.
