Tagore's Poem

When my footprints do not have an imprint on this path anymore

 I will not row my boat here on this river anymore

Then you may not remember me

When dust gets on the tanpura strings

When trees and creeps come up on the walls of the home

In the flower garden when the place becomes a jungle

When moss surrounds the edges of the pond

Then you may not remember me...

当我的足迹再也不会出现在这条小径

我的小船也再不会划到这条小河

你也许不会再记得我了

 

当塔不拉的琴弦落满灰尘

当树的藤须爬满我的家园

花园里草木荒芜

飞蛾在池塘边成群飞舞

你也许不会再记得我了
