诗的淬炼秘密可把
庸俗剔出 让我们看见那神圣庄严的光环
在平淡落寞中 依稀瞥见一丝智慧的灵光
从平凡无奇 走向 那壮阔非凡
让你的心 飞向那无垠的远方 那天外的海呀  那冰雪覆盖下的原野 世界的尽头
让你 飘飘直上 那万里苍穹 随清风起舞 聆听星星甜蜜的私语
或是 一同淹没在 那一泓 不知是谁留下的 紫色怅惘中
她会在孤寂中 给你带来 欢快鸟儿的鸣唱
把你带向 世界之初 那恬静美好的永恒时光
将天使的柔美嗓音 从天上洒向 人间
一勺勺 将无尽的爱 喂给 那在无边寂寞中 挣扎的人们
将幽美的宁静 留给 逝去的人们
开一扇希望的窗口 给那绝望中的人儿
啊，诗的淬炼
将那残酷沉重的生活
变为一首首闪着金色荣耀的赞歌
将我们每一个人
变成一个个
想放声歌唱的诗人
。。。。
。。。。

PS： 感觉无论英译中，还是中译英， 都应该诗味无穷， otherwise, 就是对语言艺术的亵渎。。。 ：））

用幽美的宁静 抚慰  逝去的人们

The Alchemy of Poetry
The alchemy of poetry can turn
the profane into the sacred,
the prosaic into the spiritual.
and the ordinary into the extraordinary,
It can let your mind travel the world,
let you soar to unimaginable heights,
or let you drown in another's misery.
It can turn silence into birdsong,
turn the clock back to eternal time
and bring the voices of angels to earth.
It can feed teaspoons of love to the lonely,
bring consolation to the bereaved,
and open a window of hope to the despairing.
Alas, the alchemy of poetry
turns our brutal leaden lives
into songs of golden celebration
and turns each of us 
into a poet.
