We're investigating. We know that President Obama is slated to appear on Thursday's episode of The View, but now it's expected that instead of hanging around Manhattan for Saturday's early departure to Rhinebeck, Obama will cut out of New York after The View's taping.
Reports suggest that President Obama has decided to decline his invitation to the Clinton wedding because he doesn't want to raise hoopla and distract the crowd with his presence, and also because the security that's required to accompany him may be too much for the Clintons to handle (it's reported they've already spent $200,000 on security for the other high-profile guests).
