让我慢下来，
让我用头脑的平静抚平狂跳的心。
在一天的迷茫中，请赐给我山丘般永恒的宁静。
用我记忆中欢唱小溪的美妙音乐，驱走神经和肌肉的紧张。
交给我体会休闲的艺术——慢慢静下来看一朵小花，与朋友聊天，拍一拍狗，对一个孩子微笑，从一本好书中选出几行，认真品位。
每天提醒我，比赛并不是最快的人赢；生活中有比增加速度更多的内容。
让我每天仰视那高塔般的橡树，明白她生生长得又高又壮，是因为它缓慢而健康地成长。Poem: Slow Me Down

Slow me down
Ease the pounding of my heart
By the quieting of my mind.
Steady my harried pace
With a vision of the eternal reach of time.
Give me,
Amidst the confusions of my day,
The calmness of the everlasting hills.
Break the tensions of my nerves
With the soothing music
Of the singing streams
That live in my memory.
Help me to know
The magical power of sleep,
Teach me the art
Of taking minute vacations
Of slowing down
To look at a flower;
To chat with an old friend
To pat a stray dog;
To smile at a child;
Or to read a few lines from a good book.
Remind me each day
That the race is not always to the swift;
That there is more to life
Than increasing its speed.
Let me look upward
Into the branches of the towering oak
And know that it grew great and strong
Because it grew slowly and well.
