I came to this country for postdoctoral training twenty years ago after I graduated from Tongji in Wuhan. In the past seven years, I have been conducting medical research as a research faculty member in a top-notch medical school in the United States. My professional experience has led to an extensive record of scientific publications. More than ten years ago, after my son entered his middle school, I became involved in multiple aspects of his school activities, particularly the extracurricular activities, which prompted me learn a great deal of knowledge about how America’s secondary education system functions. This experience eventually provided a learning ground for me to think and understand what kind of qualities arose from an applicant that an elite college in the United States is looking for. In the end, my son was very fortunate in his college applications in which he was accepted by Yale, Stanford and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2006. We were excited to attend his ceremony in New Haven as he graduated from Yale College as an English major. Although every applicant should write their own essays as one of the important parts of their applications, in our firm, an applicant’s essays could be guided by a Yale English major graduate.
This comes for me to introduce the name of our firm: HYP Pathway (雅美途). HYP refers to Harvard, Yale and Princeton which represent the most selective schools in the world of undergraduate education. It is obvious that the goal for HYP is a challenge for every applicant, even for those who have the most competitive profiles, but we believe that our service and help would eventually enhance our applicants’ chances to reach their highest potential. Under our close guidance, we already have a successful record that we sent kids to U Penn and Emory in the past two years.
Since we are doing this as a community service, we will charge at a discount rate. We will cover multiple steps of the college application process, including school selection and early and regular strategies. We will also consult on the questions and concerns raised by the applicants and their parents. In the end, you will appreciate that this kind of guidance will be valuable for your success in this unfamiliar territory.
