东方歌舞团将携国宝级舞蹈《国色》亮相耶鲁

中国顶级艺术团- 中国东方歌舞团将于2019年12月14日携国宝级舞蹈节目《国色》亮相耶鲁大学的伍尔西音乐厅，带给观众一场视听盛宴。 三千翰墨尚澎湃，昆曲余音犹绕梁。高山流水觅知音，莫道不相逢，今宵此刻，万般锦绣华章！

Chinese culture, with its long origins, is always shining with rich abundance like calligraphy, Kunqu opera, etc. People never stop looking for friends of similar taste, but they say it is so hard to find a bosom friend . However, we are certain you are our intimate friends tonight!

美哉，今日之中国，承先祖之底蕴，得后世之传扬！其气质典雅也，其色彩纷呈也！其内涵，若碧海之深远；其胸怀，似苍穹之博大！ 千载风华，历久不衰，谓之国色！

How beautiful China is today! We inherit the fine tradition of our ancestors and carry forward the contemporary spirit to the　future. China is elegant and colorful with diversity and inclusiveness. What stands the test of thousands of years and still shines is “Chinese Colors”!

节目分为九个章节，以妙曼舞蹈和绚丽布景展现中国的传统文化国色天姿。节目分别为： 一、《典·国礼》 White: Solemnity of Chinese Ritual 东方鼓乐，震撼敲响！千年礼仪之邦向全世界张开博大的怀抱！那声声钟磬，是《春江花月夜》曲乐中的高贵典雅，是巍巍中华礼迎天下的大国风范！　　　　　

When we beat oriental drums, the whole world is stunned! China, with thousands of years of ritual tradition, is opening arms to the world! The chimes in the ritual music represent the solemnity of our country in welcoming the world.

【青花雅韵，红妆初黛，恰是江南春早；细雨听竹间，述不尽，万千魏晋风骨！举杯邀月，对影成双，共赋相思一曲；西风烈，寒光飒，碧血丹心映残阳！

White and blue porcelains and the makeup on young girls are as beautiful as the early spring in South China.The drizzle patting bamboo leaves is like telling a long story of our poetic tradition. When proposing a toast to the heaven and drinking with the lonely shadow in the moonlight, one is likely to recall the heroic poems thousands of years ago. 　　

二、《品·青花流云》

Blue: Exquisiteness of Porcelain

青花如水，流云似梦。婆娑烟雨中，丝缕萦绕，品韵悠长。一曲《高山流水》，风雅卓绝！

Patterns on white and blue porcelains are as dreamy as flowing waters and floating clouds. In this misty drizzle, they seem to be even more delicate and exquisite. With this ancient Chinese music High Mountains and Flowing Waters, let’s enjoy a white and blue dream。

三、《娇·胭脂醉》Pink:Beauty of Oriental Roses

东方女性之美，明媚而端庄，知礼且大气！有“翩若惊鸿”的风采，有“娇花照水”的娴静，浓妆淡抹总相宜！正如那昆曲《牡丹亭》中所唱：“不提防沉鱼落雁鸟惊喧，则怕的羞花闭月花愁颤。”

Beauty of oriental ladies lies in their elegance and wisdom as well as their handsome appearances. While some may strike you with their stunning pretty, some will impress you with their delicacy and gentleness. They are always eye-catching whether in heavy or light makeup. As it is sung in Kunqu opera Peony Pavilion that “without any notice, this elegant young lady showed up, whose beauty surprised the birds and shied flowers”.

四、《破·西风烈》Black: Boldness of Oriental Heroes 在中华文化中，“英雄”是一种家国天下的担当，是一生“敢为人先”的胆魄，是一份“泰山崩于前而色不改”的气度，是一腔精忠报国的志向！《梅花三弄》鼓瑟锵然，壮士热血，慷慨以赴！

In Chinese culture, the word “hero” always comes with a unique personality, which is the responsibility for the nation, the courage to stand up and lead, the bearing of “staying calm in spite of a mountain collapsing right in front” and the devotion for the nation despite his own life! When the music of Plum Blossoms plays, we can feel the passion of our heroes marching forward boldly.

五、《合·国韵》Red: The Appeal of China

一点中国红，晕染开万里山河锦绣；春江海潮声，澎湃出千秋国韵悠长！歌之，舞之，不足以描绘故园多娇；赋之，颂之，述不尽满怀拳拳深情……

A little Chinese red is going to spread into a splendid landscape painting of our vast country and the rhythm of the spring tide plays only the prelude of the appealing music of our long tradition. Let's describe the beauty of our country in songs and dances! Let's express our deep love for our country in poems or carols!

六、《净·月影听竹》Green: An Intoxicated Moonlit Night

竹语，心声，月影轻舞，闻竹而悦……渔舟唱晚，临江品茗，多少人间雅趣！

The breeze is rustling through bamboo leaves in the night, like a familiar voice deep beneath our heart, which brings us so much joy when dancing in the moon. When soaking in this intoxicated moonlit night, it makes me feel like smelling the fragrance of green tea.

七、《妙·望闻问切》Golden: The Wonder of Traditional Chinese Medicine

一剂，一味，一方，百草虽苦，济世常乐！阴阳五行之理，八卦经络之道，望闻问切之技，形神合一之法！医者仁心，妙手回春，悬壶济世！

With a core purpose of saving people’s lives, reducing their pain and bringing forth happiness and health, traditional Chinese medicine has drawn wisdom from yin and yang philosophy and the law of Five Elements. Look! A story about curing patients is going to be put on in merry dances.

八、《雅·风华百代》Rainbow: Elegance of Peking Opera 　　

“海岛冰轮初转腾，见玉兔，玉兔又早东升。那冰轮离海岛，乾坤分外明。皓月当空，恰便似嫦娥离月宫……”《贵妃醉酒》熟悉的唱腔中，仿佛又叠现出了1930年梅兰芳先生在美国演出时的盛况。今天，我们将以舞蹈的方式，向梅先生致敬！向百代风华的国粹京剧艺术致敬！向友好的各国友人致敬！

“A new bright moon is rising slowly from the island, moving gradually afar, like the Goddess of Moon is leaving her palace...” The familiar melody of Drunken Concubine brings us back to that renowned performance of Mr. Mei Lanfang in America in 1930 which had created a sensation among foreign audience. Today, with our dance, we pay our tribute to Mr. Mei, to the art of Peking Opera, and to the friendliness of people from all over the world!

九、《卯兔邀月》The Rabbit Invites the Moon

卯兔邀月，月上影翩跹，月下意缠绵……The rabbit invites the moon. Shadows flash across the moon. Love abounds on earth.

十、《盛·国色》 Red: The Magnificence of Chinese Red

丹霞昭贵，祥云成瑞，国之色以“红”为大统！ 如火之盛，耀于东方！ 如日之出，鼎立中华！

Red is the most passionate color for every Chinese people. And Chinese red is now recognized as the symbolic color of China all over the world. It symbolizes the prosperity of our nation like a burning flame! It represents the thriving spirit of our people like a new sun！

美哉，今日之中国，繁盛似百花吐蕊，华贵若群芳初绽！拈一片叶，载几世情深；掬一捧月，映江河浩瀚！ 千载风华，斑斓如梦，谓之国色！

How beautiful China is today! China is thriving like blooming flowers. With our deep love, we sing a song to our nation in most sweet words. What has been going on for thousands of years and still flourishing is “Chinese Colors”!
