　　在《桃花红·杏花白》男女声二重唱CD中很是值得一提，其录音水准是五张中最好的，若前四张定为中上水平，而二重唱碟可算上乘之作，相当有激情，和声写作与演唱相当到位，可谓珠联璧合，也好于98年的《程志殷秀梅二重唱》（两张均为太平洋公司录制），喜欢戴玉强殷秀梅的朋友应该收藏，会使你满意的。笔者唯一觉得美中不足者，是殷秀梅几乎完美的英雄女高音（亦称戏剧女高音），那种宽厚的嗓音、纯正的美声、充满英雄气势的演唱，气贯长虹，收放自如，于是几乎把抒情型的男高音的戴玉强压倒在一边（极可能站立话筒太远），使人感到录制时在“大姐带小弟”的感觉，二重唱音量不等大。但瑕不掩玉，还是值得我们推崇的。《桃花红，杏花白》内容广泛，既有艺术歌曲，又有中外民歌，还有通俗歌曲，殷秀梅、戴玉强这一全新配搭的男女声二重唱使音乐形象更加丰满动人，精准的发烧录音制作，延伸和拓展了音乐欣赏的空间，表现出很强的艺术魅力。如：热情洋溢的《远方的客人请你留下来》、乡音浓郁的《桃花红、杏花白》、诗情画意的《弯弯的月亮》、华美壮丽的《为祖国乾杯》，都是该专辑的点睛之作。
