should I follow other parents?

My daughter is in 4th grade. Two of her best friends will go to private school next school year. She asked me to support her to go private school as her friends\' parents did. I work full time and my financial situation will be very tight if I follow her friends\' parents. I am a single mom but do not disappoint her. What can I do? Is private school really worth to try?
