故事简介：
　　海星(林峰饰)生于富豪之家，为知名实业家海洋之子，他一直仰慕父亲，他一直以追赶父亲为目标。可是他一直视为偶像的海洋，忽然倒下了！被他的胞弟：海亮(刘松仁饰)，狠狠地击倒。海洋败不甘心，最后更郁郁而终。海星因此记恨海亮，矢志要打倒海亮，夺回家业！可是海星的资本有限，本来想要藉著父亲留下仅有的一家电子企业作为反击基地，可惜海亮多番追击下，就连这家电子企也被海亮收购，成了新海氏集团的子公司。

　　海星初战受挫，但他不放弃，忍辱负重，留在海氏集团之内，伺机向海亮反扑。与海星并肩作战的尚有其好友：钟林大(黄宗泽饰)。钟林大虽然出身基层，却绝不因此自卑，自信终有一天靠才能闯出一片天。二人力争表现，海星在集团中的地位日益重要，但二人的关系也慢慢生出变化。两名好友的冲突，全因感情关系而起。

　　海星与名门千金祝耀群(宋汶霏饰)已订婚约，可是耀群对林大仍未忘情，三人间的关系本已复杂，及后尚要多加一人：方丽京(赵子琪饰)。丽京乃是海亮派给海星的助理，海星一直对丽京有防范，觉得丽京乃海亮的间谍，经常起磨擦，二人成了一对欢喜冤家。同时间，林大亦被丽京的率直与单纯所吸引，然而丽京在跟海星不断斗气之间，不知不觉已爱上海星，丽京眼中只有海星，对林大的追求全没在意。这段复杂的四角关系，让海星与林大的战友关系，出现了裂痕。
