We will meet on 8/16 Sat @ 10am in the open area of the first floor inside the Smithsonian National Air & Space Mesuem (DC location). (Please note: there are two locatioins of this mesuem. Please do NOT go to the Herndon location.)
We will spend approximately 1.5 hours browsing around. Afterwards, we will head towards the DC Seafood Market. We could buy seafood (cooked crabs, shrimps, etc) as lunch and eat it in front of the yatchs. Alternatively, we could eat at one of the restaurants along the water. There is a Chinese restaurant, Jenny's and some American and/or seafood fare.
1. Parking: you can park free of charge on the street near the mesuem and the Seafood Market. (The Seafood Market is just a short ride away from the mesuem.)
2. Metro: the closest stop to the meseum is Smithsonian (all lines). The closest stop to the Seafood Market is Waterfront (green line). It takes about 10 minutes' walk to reach the museum or the Seafood market from their respective metro stops.
3. Bus Service: please check DC metro system website for more details. (I don't want to post a website risking losing all contents again. :)
4. Taxi: get your cash ready. (That's all I can say about that.)
