一年哪些日子股市是涨的？

历史上的华尔街遵守一些规则：

（1）每月最后两天和最初的4-5天是多半要涨的；
（2）长周末之前两天是要涨的；
（3）Option expirations那星期是多半要涨的，特别是triple witching weeks (March, June, September, December)，但一月份除外。

这些日子涨的理由是有的。
（1）涨的理由是：投资人喜欢在月底把钱投进共同基金中
（2）涨的理由比较勉强：空股的人不喜欢带空过长周末
（3）是根据Merrill Lynch作的研究。这研究发表在Wall Street Journal (December 18, 1998)上。根据统计数字，除了1995年，市场has outpeformed in expiration weeks every year since 1985. One of the reasons suggested for this outperformance is the generally bearish stance of option traders. Their unwinding of positions causesprices to rise. 俺自己的观察是，expiration week之前一两周，市场越悲观，这理论的效果越好。
