Wife of my heart

You are the moon in the night sky, shining down in my darkest night
You are a painting of such beauty, it takes my breath away
You are my true north, that shows my heart’s compass where to go
You are an angel in heaven that fills my heart with peace
You are a gift from God, put here to complete me, to fill my heart with love.

You are a rose amongst the weeds, a diamond in the roughest rocks.
You are the rain in the desert, your heart is worth more than endless gold.
You are magic in a dreary world, you are earth, fire, water and air.
You are a fresh new flower blooming, a shooting star across the sky.
You are love, you are beauty, you are all the goodness in this world.

In your eyes i see my future, they hold me, capture me, free me.
With your touch my passion rises, feelings i never knew engulf me
Your hand in mine completes me, your head on my shoulder comforts me
Being with you brings such joy, such love, such simple happiness
Being loved by you is the greatest gift, I don’t deserve it, it humbles me. I need it.

Without you colour fades to grey, the sweetest taste turns bitter in my mouth.
When you are not near, my heart aches for yours, my life is meaningless.
If you walk away, I would always follow, for my heart is eternally yours.
I cannot live without you, the pain is just too much...
I need you more than anything, don’t abandon my heart, don’t kill me.

Because i love you, i would die for you, i would damn myself to hell

You are my world, my life, my heart, my soul. You are the very air I breathe.
You are the cool darkness that enfolds me when fire threatens to burn.
You are the light that guides me when i lose my way in this world
