【专辑介绍】

　　影片的主题曲最终和本片一样成为了经典，它的完整题名为《帕格尼尼主题狂想曲》，是一支温柔多情、缠绵悱恻的钢琴协奏曲。此曲是俄罗斯作曲家拉赫马尼诺夫于1934年完成的一首钢琴与管弦乐作品，根据意大利小提琴家帕格尼尼第24首小提琴随想曲的主题而作，编号43。这首乐曲被导演拿来作为一件重要的音乐道具，起到了跨越时空、在男女主人公之间沟通心灵的作用。
　　后来还据说，本片中的音乐主题是JOHN BARRY自己创造的，片中不过是用到了《怕格尼尼主题狂想曲》中那段非常著名的十八变奏（如男主角第一次在墙上看到画像时）。而最最不可思议的是据以前看过的一本书上讲，JOHN BARRY的主题是将拉赫的十八变奏的五线谱上以某一线为中心，将上下的音符翻转过来，就成了这一同样动人的主题。想想绝对是不可思议！
