Mandarin Enterprise Server Support position
Location: Sacramento (Elk Grove), CA
Contract employment opportunity up to 12 months in duration
In this role, you will provide basic to complex technical support for our client’s server and storage products, along with associated hardware/products in a help desk environment. You will work with customers to address post-sales technical customer support issues. You will create and track technical escalations retaining customer issue ownership in order to provide timely follow up with customer as required. Research order and repair status for customers. Review warranty claims. Work with many cross functional groups including sales, manufacturing, finance department, service, personnel to resolve standard to slightly complex billing or product delivery issues.
You will be speaking with customers in Beijing to resolve any technical issues they have with their server. You will attempt to troubleshoot the issue, and if you cannot, you will either put in an RTA (request for tech assistance) for hardware repair or dispatch someone to the site for resolution of issue.
This position requires the candidate to advanced (first language) skills reading, writing, and specifically speaking Mandarin Chinese. Proficiency with Cantonese would be a great plus for this position.
This position is in a call center. The hours of operation for this call center are Sunday – Thursday, 6:00 P.M. to 3:00 A.M.
Candidates local to the Sacramento area are preferred.
Required experience and technical skills:
Preferred experience:
General Network Administration
Network Services (DHCP, NAT, Firewalls)
Troubleshooting Complex Systems
Active Directory integration
Directory Services
Fibre channel switch technologies
SAN/NAS Technologies
Cluster Computing environments (workgroup/HPC)
Nice to have skills:
working knowledge of OSX servers, windows servers, or Unix servers
· Some server administration background
· Knowledge of firewalls, Active Directory, Directory Services
