In Chinese, we seem have no unique
God 一词。
Perhaps, we had have time, when there were 黄帝, then 皇帝。
By taking in 帝, We call GOD -- 上帝。
Sometimes, we translate it into 神 (however, to Chinese tradition, 神 may not necessarily be positive, such as in 装神弄鬼)。In English, "Soul" is as in heart & soul, sort of like '神灵' in Chinese, but much more positively referred.
It seems missing one, which is above Chinese reffered "上帝"。Once we connect to a worldly term, we would have put on some Limitation into it automatically and unfortunately.
In English, GOD, and other culture,
, Ala, are all quite uniquely defined as One and Only.
