耶 和 华 是 译 自 Jehovah ( Short of Jehovahjireh 指 的 是 上 帝 本 人 )

大概象不少兄弟姐妹一样, 一直以为中文里的 "耶 和 华" 指得就是 "耶 稣" (http://www.dbsbible.org/ct50/Bible/NCV/gb/mat/1.htm) 本人, 都以 JE 开头, 所以都姓 "耶", 但一个指父, 一个是圣子之名。


比如中文圣经旧约里, 英文中用 God 上帝 的地方, 全部都用 耶和华。

是不是 "上帝" sounds 偏抽象 (or 太容易和咱中国的 皇帝 连起来?)?

"耶 和 华" 则更人性化一些, sounded 更容易爱得起来?

实际上, 上帝是不需要 Witnesses 或者 证明自己的存在的 (无处不在,  无所不包, 何处不有), Witnesses 或者 证明 乃是为了满足并增强人们对上帝的信心。


神本人也派遣(呼召)自己的门徒,圣徒,信徒以他的名义传福音,布道,或者医病赶魔鬼 -- 以神的名义行使神的权柄和大能。


最新的译本里 用 "耶和华 神", 似乎向 invisible nature of God 的方向上, 更进一步地提拔了一些。
