Tovshuur is a two-stringed instrument, it is the most ancient of all Mongolian musical instruments, even older than the Morin Khuur. The roots of the instrument can be traced back to the time of the Huns. Flipping of the strings perfectly matched by stepping of the toes, the song brings new life to ancient tunes, depicts a bright road ahead for the people. I have translated the beautiful lyrics into English. Enjoy.
