Distinction between Not Accepted and Rejected

For anyone who has worked so hard on their application, and yet they didn't get into their first choice school, please do not feel this is a rejection of their hardwork, their habitats, their upbringing, their devotion, or their passion. 
 

It is not as tragic, though it might seem like so at the moment.
 

Yet, if the application essay is about someone, it should be  about the applicant, not the grandma, grandpa, ma, or pa, no matter how tear jerking their story or experience is.
