On the way home from a college visit yesterday afternoon , my son asked if he can go to a swimming party. I had no objections.  Somehow and somewhere, someone switched the topic to bringing up kids. His mom said to him”when you become wealthy, be sure to hire a chauffeur to take your kid to swimming lessons”.  I corrected her “when you become wealthy, be sure to take your kids yourself to activities. You can afford your time.”
